its forum bozos from another thread that cry when called out about bs... I'm certain they had some admin buddy change the rating... whats stupid is that when you read the 2 responses they are postitive - so all it does is make the site look fubard. Personally I dont care enough to even contact the staff about it.

The regular DE manifold is terrible. I don't know why you would consider retaining it, or using a MREV manifold when a Revup manifold is proven to out shine it in higher rpm breathing.

I'm sure a spacer some TB work and some pullies could get it real close to 300whp without touching cams

A dynojet would be showing 300whp already I'm confident!

his numbers are dynopak numbers.. thats why they are so high.. on a dynojet its going to be a good 20/25 whp less

not necessarily, it will all depends on the calibrations of the various dynos, which is why comparing one dyno to another is the essence of ricer math

So is OP going turbo? I still think he should stick to NA. I beleive, sometimes its not about the power in general but about making serious power in a rare setup such as NA. It takes serious skill and patience to build a sick NA motor. However, a retard can slap on a turbokit and beat the NA anyday. If you go NA and hit some serious power, my hat comes off to you.

HOwever, as for me, *** that shit, i got greddy twins. I need to smoke some dougs and jzuritas.

true, but usually when the numbers are beyond the norm.. its a dynopak because they are measured at the hubs with no wheels.. thats what JWT's Dyno is and thats why VRT had all those inflated numbers.. i'm willing to bet on any other dyno he isn't going to see those numbers

its believable, revups from what i seen always dyno higher then 287s. My 287 dynoed 234 my revup stock dynod 251 on a Dyno jet. I actually have to re dyno now that i have more mods to see the gain but, its nothing spectacualr. I was preety bumed out when my 287 04 dynod 234 on the same dyno lol. Weather doesnt change much in florida lol. Its either hot or hot lol. And of course 4th gear pulls lol 1:1.

I am pushing foward with my 06 to abtain as close to 300rwhp as possible with a haltech. I think its doable on a revup if my base line was 251. Now i gotta pull a miracle out my azz lol. But def possible with S7 cams and a haltech and every quality bolt on possible. Well thats my hope cars perform differently, i have seen some cars just dyno higher for factory odditiys. Weird science dynos are lol.

As far as Turbo vs NA, well if i had a choice between a 300rwhp turbo car and a 300rhwp NA car i would always choose the NA car for road racing or HPDE. i love the GT3s much more respect then the 911s theres something more raw about NA power thats just more intriguing to me then FI. But of course money is the direction taker with any build.

I totally know what you mean, and more often, you find guys chasing a # rather than net gains. At some point it would be great to get a stock Z on the same dyno - and then do back/back runs with this car. At least then you would see a more realistic representation of net gains

true.. and i agree with you.. i just hate when people dyno on dynapak .. people see the high number then automatically feel that if they buy the same mods they will dyno the same

I'm barely at 259.8whp (mustang dyno) with intake, spacer, exhaust. mrev2, headers, and test pipes on the way.

, I get tuned on a dynodynamics and have seen 40+whp gains over stock. I am just lucky that I have a friends shop within 5 minutes of my house where I can hop on the dynojet at little to no notice (and expense). Sae dynojet numbers are just more of the norm and easier for comparative purposes.

I was thinking of going NA all the way, but after reading this I think I'm going to just save my money and put a single turbo ... btw I have a 06 mt. I wish they sold the 3.8 RS in the US
