Default What else can I do

Plz don't flame me or hate on my to much, not an expert on this stuff.

I either have or plan on getting the following:

JWT pop charger
MD plenum 5/16" spacer
MD Intake Manifold
HKS Exhaust
Megan Racing TP
Uprev Osiris Tune

I'm wondering what else I can do without killing my pockets. This isn't my reason for wanting more but my friend has an 06 wrx which is about to go stage 2 using access port which is probably going to put him ahead of my unfortunately. So a nice jump to keep me ahead of him would be a plus as well.

the resonated megan racing test pipes sound great. I have them with a nismo s-tune catback. Just be sure to do the sparkplug non-fouler trick to keep your CEL off. The parts you have listed would def keep you ahead of your friends stage 1 wrx which is stock with a tune. Def not that fast. Just dont race him from a dig Headers are a good way to increase horsepower and torque on the vq. just hard to install. Tomei 3.90 rear diff gear set is another good mod. Let me know what you go with.

I've heard a lot of mixed things with headers on the Z. I drive an AT as well.

5at guys do well with a valve body upgrade, and swapping out the diff for a 6mt diff. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Cobb stage 2 just adding exhaust?

MREV2 if you have a revup? ART Pipes? Just save until you can FI, because basic mods wont give you the money's worth.

1. define your goals
2. define "killing your pockets"
3. awfully hard to make a suggestion for complimentary parts based on a partially truthful list that contains parts you may have and parts you may get. Why not start by listing what you actually have right now (including the year of the car, because it matters)?

car has 67k on it, don't want to go FI. When I say kill the pockets I don't mind saving up for something pricey if its worth it and going to give a drastic improvement. Some may say its a waste of money but I don't track the car a lot but never say never. Just enjoy making the car more fun to drive.

03 AT Z 67k miles

Currently have:
Pop Charger
MD 5/16 spacker
HKS Hi-Power Exhaust
Megan Racing Test Pipes

Next up:
MREV2
ART Pipes
Osiris Tune

You dont need a MREV2 unless you have a rev up. You will actually have better results with the stock lower plenum and ART pipes...So I would skip the MREV2...

How about suspension? Get some coilovers, sway bars, and then you will really fall in love with your car...

New bumper is also otw and don't really want to lower my car as I don't want issues scrapping everyone with a lower bumper.

Sort of off topic but can someone comment on 06+ airbox vs popcharger vs cai?
I currently have the popcharger.

A 50 or 75 shot on top of your boltons would certainly keep you ahead of the WRX for a while. It can be quite safe for around 1,000 total (wideband, copper plugs, RPM/TPS switch, heater, purge, kit) if you shop around.

I know you said you didn't want F/I, but NO2 is a cheap and easy addition that has a toggle switch, good for a street car.
