it could by the dyno calibration it self....
if bubbas dyno is similar to techno squares then im good, since stock de's hit 198-205 on their dyno, so that would be about 80 over stock, but i dont know anyone else that did a dyno on bubbas stock.
I was contemplating the quality of the engine builder, almost worried i got screwed on the parts he said were put in to the engine.
if anyone else been to bubbas or knows something about tuning i can share my maps and we can compare the the other similar stuff. im a little concerned as well

on 91 octane it's not too far from where one would reasonably expect
that being said, invest in a real set of headers and the #'s should improve across the board, they are choking your cams. Also if cam timing was not altered, that should be the next area of concentration - def takes time to dial it in, but it pays good dividends on a revup engine in particular,a nd those cams should wake up from it

his numbers for 91 octane are average just like anyone else who has his mods and dynoed with stock pistons and rods would get the same whp he did even if he has forged internals... its not just ohh lets throw forged internals now ill have more hp.... so for whoever expects more power just bc he put higher grader internals in is totaly wrong. now if u upgraded to longtubes id comfortably say with a tune ud get up towards 300whp.. but na builds are just for reliability and potentially have a littler more power than a stock vq35de motor with full bolt ons.. its not like u magically gain 50 whp with a built bottom end or something.

Which short header is the best, crawford?
I need to stay legal and run a cat.
and I wont have more power just because stronger pistons, but because they are
1) Bigger
2) Higher compression.

your pistons are not "bigger" to the point where they are going to add power. You're talking a tiny increase, so nothing to be gained there
compression, on these motors, does not in and of itself add compresion unless you take a substantial jump, which you're not at
cosworth doesn't make headers
the only part of your block that allows you to make more power is the fact that it can now more safely rev higher...which on a VQ, has rewards with the right setup
A Crawford, or Tomei header and a good set of high flow cats will work nicely, and give a very substantial increase vs your current setup IMHO.

i mean to say crawford*** not cosworth. my mistake,
yes the parts aren't substantially bigger, but it should still do something..
