Agreed. My point of dynoing was to figure out why my car is faster than other Z's so power is out of the equation.

I'm not sure what HR's and stock nismo 370's dyno at but all i know is I've never lost to one so idk.... maybe the weight difference?

Did any of you people with magic motors ever run your cars?

Or are we just dyno racing?

In my case, yes. But not against any of the cars that dynoed with less HP than my car on the same day and dyno. (Three different dyno's, three different groups of Z's.)

I don't think a 15hp difference could dependably overcome driver variance in the 1/4 mile though.

When the difference from one motor to the next is so small, running two different cars on the same dyno, back to back, is probably a more dependable method for quantifying such small differences because there is less opportunity for the human variable.

My best run was a 13.997 @ 98.47mph a few summers ago. I've seen much better numbers for other N/A Z's but not from any of the N/A Z's that ran that day, at that track. (Although there were only a handful of N/A Z's that day.)
