How much confidence do you have in your machinest? I've found they are generally the best mechanics out there, but also keep in mind nothing beats a shop with tons of experience on your platform.

The machinist was chosen by the mechanic. It took him over a month to get the motor where it is now.

The first shop I called when told who did the machine work said he would need the work checked before he accepted the job.

I did this a minute ago:

Frontier coolant outlet cover.

PROGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A good builder should check measurements as they go anyway, if for no reason but their own piece of mind.

GL with your build. I will be looking at doing something similar in the future.

Sorry yours has slowed too. Can you give me the part number for the oil filter stud you used to delete the oil cooler please?

Thanks.

Nope would not do that. I should have said IS seeping. Nissan tried to blame the miniscule seep for the oil consumption.

Sorry forgot about this thread.

The thrust washers I got had only block side, had to buy another set.

And a few new engine progress pictures.

This is the Thrust washer I was missing.

Hows the build coming along with the machinst?
Seen in another thread you bought the Hr oil stud, guessing your removing the factory cooler/warmer?

Amazing huh?

I'm hoping for completion in under a month. Better slow but moving than nada.
