I was referring to the motor being in, not the smoking.

Hope it clears up.

My car smoked real bad during breakin but it was a blow head gasket the first time and a dropped sleeve the second time. Hopefully you don't have either of those problems. I also used conventional valvoline oil during my break-in but it was 10w30.

The car sounds really good! It's great to see that you did everything in house, I wish I could have done that as well. Keep up the good work.

You drilled out the pcv valve? Check compression, leak down test, open your oil filler cap while idling to see if air comes out

turns out this motor doesnt like no pcv valve lol the vacuum was pretty much sucking the oil through the valve cover and filling up the catch can. emptied it out, put a new pcv valve in and problem solved. no smoking. maybe just a tiny light puff here and there but im guessing it has to clear out what was sucked into the plenum now

either way, i put nonfoulers on the rear o2 sensors and that helped with my rich problem.....alphas are within spec now. stayin in the 90% range. and i put in the new clutch master and slave cylinder so NOW my pedal feels normal again! and i changed the oil and filter, no nothing so yayyy!

got an appt set up with CIN in charlotte for the osiris tune saturday morning tho

couple vids....sound still sucks since its from my Fascinate phone

im hoping for atleast 300rwhp tho...the more the better go have fun and post back when sober buddy

lol mgrotel,, thats not the first time someone has said "you're AT" when i say i got a clutch kit and never mentioned AT in any post. dont get me wrong, you can make an AT go fast, but if it dont have 3 pedals....i dont want it

not only go fast, but shift fast too, but im also at 4500ft, so now i have an excuse when my numbers are grossly lower than yours, lol. we have very similar builds though so should be interesting, hopefully i can get some elevation corrected numbers. although, im not big on dyno numbers anyway, but i do want to see where we are both at all said and done.
