so whats more solid than slush? ice? lol icebox it is.

i keed i keed. im only referring to the stock/non-powerful AT cars. just doesnt give me that satisfying feeling of driving if it doesnt have that 3rd pedal.

BUT...sounds like you have a nasty setup mgrotel!

80s ZX turbos were better as autos, turbos had more lag then. Give me a good MT, that's where driver skill comes into play and a great upshift is always a rush.

i understand manuals are probably more fun, but like i said, im only worried about going fast and i have yet to meet anyone who can shift faster and never miss a gear than a trango transmission. not to mention, if you look at the top cars in every type of racing, almost all are autos, with the exception being drifting, which i could give 2 rats about. lol

the coupe, you excited as i am for tomorrow? you better be updating this **** on a regular basis!

I understand. Im not too worried about track times and such as all I do is normal spirited street driving so super precise .01 of a second shifts arent really necessary. Although id like to try out a built AT to feel the difference. And yes. Im excited for tomorrow. I gotta put on my md spacer and change out my ypipe gaskets cuz right.now I have the stock gaskets in...which are smaller than the header outlets.

qft.

My car is a daily, not a race car.

The difference was night & day in driveability & useable power after my tune. Good luck tomorrow I am looking forward to a big number!

fyi I decided to have the machine shop that did the work complete my build AFTER I get back in two weeks.

easy now guys before you ground yall in my thread too! lol

im not taking advice. no im not AT, im 6MT! i live in the upstate sc so idk what elevation im at....surely not anything high lol.

qft? whats that mean?
but im glad you got a better set plan for finishing your motor tho, e30.

and as far as the power...im sure there will be a big diff cuz other than the faster revs and a lil boost in midrange power....i dont feel too much difference....hence why i need the tune to get everything where it needs to be. driveability is ok other than bein a lil on the rich side so i feel a lil hesitation here and there....and the cutting off when the idle drops down. so i cant wait til tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!! i so excited!
