Long story short:

This is my 2nd time having fuel leak while I was racing on the track. I smelled gas when I was racing hard. Popped the hood, fuel was leaking at the back side of the fuel rail. Both cracked on the exact same spot.

First Set of fuel rail: (Stock)
2nd Set of fuel rail: (Bought it used)

Finally, called Nissan dealer and found out Nissan has an updated part #. The new one is beefier on the mounting bracket. I am hoping that will fix the problem.

Anyone have experienced something like that? They need to make a recall on this!!

I never had a problem personally, and I had the fuel rails off, or pulled off to the side multiple times, what could possibly put enough stress on that line to make it crack??

 

Just happened to me, thought it was the o ring on the back of the rail , changed the O ring and still leaking. Got the mirror for a better view and cracked.

Any ideas on price?

 

Do you need another OEM fuel rail? I have mine left over after a build…PM me if interested...

 

Using the one off my spare engine, then want to buy an updated version for when I install the new motor
