Default N/A build advice for lower plenum

Hi, I am building my 04.5 5AT 350z with the mods below:

1)3.53 final drive with vLSD off a manual
2)Greddy Ti-C true dual exhaust
3)2.5'' non resonated test pipes
4)topspeed headers
5)Blox 5/8'' plenum spacer
6)nismo intake with 3'' MAF housing
7)UR racing pulleys
8)transgo valve body upgrade
9)NGK IX Iridium #6 spark plugs
10)BC stage 2 camshafts IN/EX 264/264 10.82/10.82

the rev limiter will be raised to 7500 and the car will be tuned using uprev osiris. the question is if the revup lower plenum with shorty runners and bigger openings will help me yield high rpm power.

thanks

Yes. The revup plenum makes more high rpm power than the DE.

Looks like you're going all out for bolt ons, If you can get ahold of a cosworth intake manifold you should see some nice gains in the upper RPMs since you're doing cams

I highly suggest you keep the stock crank pulley, as I have had an un-orthadox racing pulley on for 30k miles and now it wont come off unless I go to extreme's or possibly break it's connection with the crank. GTM has video's somewhere explaining this issue.

You can get other light weight pulleys for the other components but save the life of your engine and stick with the stock (or ATI pulley)

Are you going to do any port and polishing with the upper plenum or heads?

i run a ported and heavily shaved revup lower plenum on my car. but i dont have any before and after dyno or anything to backup if it made a difference. i like to say it helps and i have my rev limiter raised to 7300.

+1.

Rafael, it's me Dex

Install Revup oilpump or Nismo (better but costly) if you want to push beyond 7k rpm.

Sexy build you got there, me likey.

Don't use those headers, don't rev that high without rodbolts and a better oil pump and don't use the cosworth(less) or Revup plenum. Good luck.

You only need JWT valve springs and shims to rev to 7500, as per SG's build.

Revup oil pump is a great idea.

The revup lower will peak higher in the RPMs. It works if your peak is above 6350. Fact.

And make less average power overall. Fact.

No point in using the revup plenum unless it's a built motor.
He just won't be reving hard enough to get power under the curve.
