+1 on that 113mph trap being mighty impressive, especially with a shift to 4th just prior to the line
Mind sharing a bit more info on the car? What model is it and do you have much in the way of weight reduction? Also are you running stock gears? And lastly, what was your 60' time on that run & were
you consistently trapping around 113mph that day? Sorry for all the questions lol. Thanks for any info though!

just wow!!!
I watched & listened to that video very closely. I heard the clutch/shifting problems you were having. To get 113 mph with all that is amazing.
I'm just a little confused with your 1st. post.
The cams, valve job, that whole list, is that future mods that you'll be doing?
I'd love to see in your car perform at the track. Perhaps in the Spring....

I believe the cams he had planned for the future (from what I can tell).
310rwhp for an HR with longtubes, full exhaust, intake & tune is pretty reasonable and inline to begin with...considering it's pretty common for guys to hit ~300rwhp on a dynojet with test pipes (no headers though), full exhuast, intake & tune.
I'm still a bit dumbfounded by the 113mph trap though, but maybe that's because I simply haven't seen many 1/4 mile numbers from HR guys with 300+rwhp. What makes the 113 trap even more suprising is that he looks to have relatively heavy 19's on the car, not to mention the stock clutch (a toasted one at that) and flywheel.
The conditions at the track must have been quite favorable on that day/run...or maybe he simply has has some weight reduction we are unaware of? Regardless, 113 is bloody fast given the circumstances. Then again, M6 C5 Vettes put down very similar rwhp numbers in stock form(while weighing roughly the same) and have been known to trap around 113mph...so maybe it's not as far fetched as I initially thought
Can't wait to get the PPE Long Tubes (which are mostly likely much better quality than the OBX LT's that the OP'er has) & tune on my car Considering that I've taken out about 200lbs from the base weight while having a lightweight flywheel/clutch it wouldn't be too far fetched to expect my car to trap 115+...which is pretty close to C5 Z06 territory and damn impressive for a V6 Z with bolt ons. I hope to find out soon!

I wouldnt be surprised to see that car had a little giggle gas, its just way past the traps other people have put up. Not saying its BS, but not 100% behind it with all the "issues".
Id love to be proven wrong and see a guy build upa recipe for a bad a$$ NA HR. Im rooting for you.

Ye, I kind of got it. Nitrous oxide(dentist) laughing gas.
Well, I'm not going there. I've experience that other side.
I like that cars exhaust system. It's similar to mine, straight through, high velocity type, except mine is using stock parts.
Can't wait till spring and see that car with a good clutch.

DA was probably in the -1k range.
Nice times couple of questions.
What were you other times that day or was that your only run?
What was your 1/8 mile trap?
I have 280 on my 5at and 380 on spray. I'm trapping 114 on spray running 12.3.
Where are you from in jersey my bro lives in Elizabeth.
