N/A bolt-ons/ Dyno@278.7whp 2006 350Z REV-UP
So after collecting all the bolt-ons I could, I finally got my car tuned and dynoed and I must say I am overall pleased with the numbers and the feel of the car. Its very responsive and has great low end power for what I plan on using the car for. So with out further ado, below is my mod list:
Engine modifications:
Engine mileage @123,XXX
Motordyne plenum spacer
Motordyne lower intake manifold
JWT Intake w/Z-tube heatwrapped
PPE longtube headers
AAM Y-Pipe
Fujitsubo Catback Exhaust
Lightened flywheel w/6puck Clutch
Moroso Oil catch can
Greddy Oil Cooler
Custom Upgraded p/s Cooler
Uprev Tune
Mishimoto lower temp thermostat
Mishimoto radiator hoses
Unfortunately I cant show a base hp without mods to the current power so i apologize in advance.
The car was also tuned prior to this recent tune and baselined at 265whp (installed PPE headers and MD lower intake manifold and spacer) made an additional 13whp for a total of 278whp.
Note: Car was dynoed on a Dyno Dynamics machine.
See Pics and video below.
Initial dyno.

wonder if the revup lower plenum would have got rid of some of that top end dip... doesn't seem like the mrev + spacer did much for the midrange, unless the PPE headers cancelled out any low end gains... but that's just my speculation.

Nice numbers. Makes me think how much hp I would not with my current setup with a tune. I'm probably around 255 right now maybe 265-270 after a tune. I need some headers but I want to go turbo in the next yr so we'll see. I've had the car 2 years and hardly have any performance mods.
Bit of a thread jack here but its about the same question stated above wether the cancelling out of the mrev with the headers? I dynoed just over 270 hp on same type of dyno on 95 degree day, but don't have mrev2, spacer or intake The rest of mods are similar but wondering if missing mods will net me anymore power than a few because my torque is cracking past the 260 mark already?
Need to ditch that factory MAF housing and get something bigger like the GTM 3" MAF housing. The brass ring in the middle is the inner mounting bracket from my '03 air box, and the whole piece is the JWT velocity ring. And the brass ring diameter is same diameter as the factory MAF housing. The 3" MAF housing diameter matches almost exactly to the velocity ring. You'll probably only notice a little better throttle response, and your "whistle" will be louder...seriously.
My Cosworth and a few other intake mods (ITBs being one if them) are what shift or extend the power right.
I want to see what the Revup lower and 1/2" spacer do with the headers.
