I went and did the whole test with all 3 plenums and the dyno operator can't seem to get my results together. To say I'm unhappy about that would be an understatement . I'm going there Monday. The best was the APS, then the Kinetix and mine last. Mine made the car pretty lean up top from what I could see. Need the damn results. As soon as I get them and am able to decipher what was going on I will order a spacer and retest. Testing was done in 5th gear on A mustang dyno and 2 of the manifolds couldn't get past 7100 but on the road the car revs to 7500 no problem

So, you did no tuning ? Lean up high is probably a good thing, cause it has the extra air it needs to make power. Just add fuel

No tuning, car was tuned for the Kinetix intake. So if mine was consistently leaner that's great but I want to add a spacer and give it another go.

So this looks like it will have the same results on a stock'ish car as the velocity would, but should be cheaper maybe?

If it's very lean, adding fuel will bring 15-20 HP.

Still waiting on the results. A 5/8" Blox plenum spacer arrived at my house today for a retest even though I'm not even sure what exactly happened last time. I will be stopping by there again tomorrow.

Haven't gotten the results from the dyno test but have already scheduled a test of my plenum with a 5/8" spacer vs the APS for Tuesday at 4pm. Hopefully will have all the information at that point

Oh snap ...where can I get one of those?!?

Never mind, found it. After reading the reviews...I'll stick with current setup.

Made more power than the kinetix velocity which the car was tuned with all while running a point lean afr. It works, it works really well!!! I have more dyno sheets to put up later.

How did it compare to aps since you said that was the highest before? I wonder what the gains would be with a 5/16" spacer.

Run 1 is modified upper without spacer, its not making the power but its lean and wants more fuel
Run 2 APS Tall boy with NWP throttle body
Run 3 Kinetix Velocity with NPW TB.
All these runs were performed with the inertia brake on

Run 1 Modified upper with blox spacer, most power but super lean. Running between 14.25 and 14.5 Inertia brake on to simulate same results as previous test
Run 2 Modified upper with blox spacer, running very lean.
Run 3 Kinetix velocity with NWP TB. Run from 3/12, time and date right on there.

All runs from previous test were performed with inertia brake on, dyno operator didn't have previous experience with performing power pulls. The inertia brake simulates road force so it's a more realistic pull. I had him perform a pull yesterday 4/1 with the inertia brake on to replicate previous test. The results were the same, car was .5 to a full point lean. This car was tuned for the Kinetix plenum so the results should have been favorable for it. On every run with the modified upper it wanted more fuel than the other plenums. It's job was to supply the engine with more air, it's doing its job. Plenum spacer changes the size of the box, this puts a bigger hole in the side of the box to allow more air in at a faster rate. Would be interesting to see what this does with a revup lower, but I'm done testing.
