Forget about it. You would need a crankshaft from 380rs. Virtually impossible to get one.

Crankshaft from 380rs?

brian crower offers the crankshaft for sale "BC 5227 is the crankshaft so you get with the crankshaft 3.8 liter when the cylinder is drilled to 96mm

I thought they only had 4.07 and 4.3L kits. No?

No indirectly if you use the crankshaft with 100 mm piston and 100mm borehole a displacement of 4.0 or 4.3 liters or whatever...

I want only 96mm piston and bore the gives you 3.8 liters.

for 100 mm bore the cylinder walls are too thin then sleeves must be used. this means other cylinder walls are glued into the motor so I stick to 3.8 liter because I am otherwise too expensive and too much work

Why not just get the VQ37 Crank and Rods and use custom pistons and settle for a 3.7L for WAY cheaper? That is if your using a HR block.

The vq37hr Engine has a longer crankshaft Stroke as the vq35hr Engine

Thank you .
that sounds interesting
I have never heard of it I
would rather take the 3.8 liter variant

What Connection Rod Bearings Needed?
What main Bearings Needed?
what do these std grade 1 2 3 4?
What is it ?

how do I know which level I need exactly of STD grade? Thank you

if you're dead-set on 3.8 liters ... just go get a GTR?? You'd save a ton of money and easier!

You would have to wait until you get the Rods and crank and measure the Crank journals and the rod bore with a micrometer to see which bearings you need there is no way to tell before hand.

You know the power difference between 3.7L and 3.8L won't be worth it correct?

yes I know it does not make much difference. but I have also read another thread would not be as easy as it seems and which pistons then fit to the rods and crankshaft?

With E85 you can choose what ever one you want and you can add boost if you want.

With pump you can choose either or for N/A but once yoiu start getting into boost you want to start backing down your compression ratio.

I come from germany from köln here there is a maximum of 107 petrol that is perfect

fit the pistons to the rods and crankshaft that would be important to me.

make 11: 1 and 11.5: 1 are many performance differences?

Just know your 107 and my 107 may be different it all depends on what they use to determine it's octane. There shoudnt be much of a difference between 11-11.5. That's a engine builder/tuner question sorry.

Whats about the JE pistons With 11.5:1 96mm

With BC 6227 and BC5227 Balanced.

are these 3 things compatible?

Please help me guys

i Want to buy the parts .

I have a message from brian crower. What he means ?

Brian crower
The pistons are made to order for the stroker as they have a different CH wo accommodate for the stroke.

We can do any bore and compression you require.

Thank you,

Just tell Brian Crower what compression ratio you want and that will do the rest.
