Default E85 on a de?

Howcome I don't see any 350z de on e85? I have basic bolt ons on my de and I would like to go e85 in the future. Would I need anything more other than injectors and a fuel pump?

I think it's a lot of money spent for very little return, unless you are planning a forced induction route later on. Besides the injectors and fuel pump, you will want to replace all rubber fuel lines with e85 compatible ones,
I believe they are teflon coated to prevent degradation of the lines. Even on the newer year engines, there isn't much gain naturally aspirated.

You will also need a tune with Uprev, or similar to see any benefits. In addition, you will need to change your oil more often, because e85 will 'break it down' faster. E85 also burns at a higher rate, so it's not necessarily useful for a daily driver.

Its not worth it. You may make 10 hp but you'll use about 15% more fuel if your easy on the throttle.

You would need to retune the car specifically for E85. Or you can get a flex fuel sensor and Haltech 350z unit and with a good tune it will work with any combination of 93 octane and E85. I make about 200 whp more with E85 (but I have twins).

Its worth it if you are going for every last bit of hp. I personally think its worth it; however, I wouldn't do it on a DD since I only have 1 station near me(20 mins). The reason you don't see many DE's on e85 on social media, is bc unless u have an 07/08 nismo spitting flames nonstop with e85, ur just not kewl.

There in lies the problem. Modding your car to please other insignificant ppl for validation. Do what you love and mod your car without needing validation from the mob-like sheeple who follow trends blindly.

I digress, To the OP, I do agree on it being beneficial on DEs. I run e85 myself and absolutely love it, my station is about the same amount of miles away as well. Really the question is is it worth it to you? If you would be happier to run a cornfed DE, go for it. Just make sure you buy the necessary parts to be able to run alcohol fuel thru your system. Good luck with whatever you decide.

My car runs on ethanol...but it is mainly for cooling on track and some other benefits (including a bit more power).
