Default Help, wanting to build a NA VQ35DE

Hello so I’ve grenaded the 2nd engine in my 03 LOL. I have enough of this crap, I think the 7500 rpm probably did it (jwt s1 and kinetic velocity +admin tune) the car was phenomenal, made 301rwhp on this combo, peaked at 7100 so 7500rpm shift was natural choice. I was going to get another JDM engine. This last OEM lasted about 1.5 years and had the snot beaten out of it, MANY trips to 1/4 track. (13.2@108 best crap 2.1 60ft) I think I’ll just end up back here with another oem engine. So give me some reputable places yall think can do the short block, 11.0 compression with the good **** that’s comes with it.
1. RZG is my main choice right now, they quoted me 3300 (from memory) if I send them the short block.
2. Fever racing is another place that came up but I’m hearing mixed reviews, they have a complete one w cams (like c8) for 6200. Doesn’t list timing chain so I’ll get there local. 4800 for long block without cams but I have them already so no problem there.
.3 last one I’ve seen but think most expensive is Dynosty, I have to call them to get some prices.
give me some pointers to help me decide what direction to go.

Take this with a grain of salt but 301hp at 7500 is nuts ... how much torque did that setup make?

get an OEM engine and put a small turbo on it ... you'll be at 400hp 400ft torque for far far less than you'll spend on a built block ...

If you must have a built block and you are going to turbo at some point down the road I would consider a Z1 rebuild kit (minus eagle rods) and build it yourself and/or locally. Nothing wrong with the shops you mentioned but it's not rocket science and if you can read a factory service manual and have (or can source) some engine building experience than just do it locally...

my 2cents

This was last pull before the grenade pin fell lol.
I thought about that, I have a guy local that’s says he can built it, order the Z1 kit etc. this would be the far cheaper option. I don’t. Plan to boost it, I’m tired replacing dam engines. 300 rwhp is plenty for me, boost wouid be fun, car is a handful (was LOL) at 300. Its more than enough for me. I’m sure there will be bit more power with higher compression and fresh internals. The only reason I’d like to use RZG is their reputation, I like to think, have confidence that this build will last, 7500 rpm and all. Ok you vote is build local.

To build a reliable 7500 rpm 300whp DE will be far more costly than a Stock DE with a 7psi making 400whp.
