Did they ever give you a VIN to track? After that much time, I would bet your order hasn't ever been placed.

I ordered mine on January 21, received an order number on January 27 and was told I should receive my VIN number by the end of Febuary. So anytime now. My dealer also said next production for the Z will be end of Febuary and thats when i will receive my VIN number. I will keep you informed...

I received our VIN a week or two ago (ordered on 1/4/06) and was told by our dealer it'll be arriving approximately 3/24. Is there a way to track anything online with this VIN?

What did you order? Does dealer have any allocation? Deposit?

Have you searched nissanusa online for other dealer inventory using zip codes?

You may find a Z close to what you ordered...

I called up my dealer today and he said the order was screwed up. What a bunch of bs. I've been calling this clown for the past 4 months and he just now realized the order was incorrect? I bet the moron never placed the order in the first place and is simply stalling for time. Unbelievable.

OMG, that totally bites!

Have you started checking around on Nissan's site to see if there is anything in the inventory around you that meets your needs? Might be something you can pick up and not have to deal with the bozo who forgot to order your car...

If you have correct paperwork from when you ordered it, I'd bet NissanUSA would love to hear from you

Just ordered a Touring Coupe, Interlagos-Fire. After a week of checking inventory the dealer has told me he will have to order the car from Nissan. He talked of a 30-60-90 day delivery schedule. In his office he was bring up some screens with cars in transit listed. In this day and age, with the VIN I am guessing there might be a way for a waiting customer to track the production and shipment of the new car. Is there a way track the order, and if so, how it is done?

I did speak with the sales manager and he said he would check into it and call me back...but he never called me back! So I called 4 hrs later to talk with the salesman that took my order and he tells me about the order screw up. What's funny is that I chose this dealer because they had the service of excellence award on the Nissan website.

I have been checking the inventories of every dealer within 50 miles and none of them have what I had ordered, not even close. I ordered an a fully loaded SS GT 6MT with the burnt orange interior. Pretty hard to find combo. There are tons of base models and touring models with AT.

I think I'm going to just keep my 05 roadster and get my deposit back. By the time I get an 06, the 07 models will be out.
