Default Buying a 350Z

Hello, name is Tyler. SoCal resident, Temecula more specifically.

As of today I am officially beginning my search for a used 350Z. From research I've already done I know about the feathering and tranny problems with the '03's but I was wondering if there was any others? If the car is a 2003, is there a way to tell if the car has been serviced for those issues?

Currently I'm driving a leased 2006 Eclipse, but it's going away when I find the 350. My old car before that was a 2001 Eclipse (pics added for you conveniance )

I've been a member of the Mitsubishi world since 2001, so I'm completely new to the Nissan world. Anway, any input would be greatly appreciated!

Question: If the car is an '03, are some of the trannies fine? I'm looking at one right now that did not have issues with the transmission. 34K miles.
