Default New 350Z With An Added Bonus!

Hi,

I just had the pleasure of buying my first 350Z and I'm over the moon with it!

The car is pre-owned but absolutely spotless as soon as I drove it I knew I had to have it. But as an added bonus when I checked in the Trunk is also came with it's own fitted luggage.

Now I love accessories and gadget like most guys so I couldn't believe my luck, I didn't even know that there was such a thing for the 350Z.

Did anyone else's car come with luggage? is it an extra from the Factory or something after-market?

It's an additional thing, and it's about $500 I believe...congratulations!

How do you like that luggage? Is it good quality? I was thinking of ordering a set but so far just using my regular airline carry-on luggage, and it fits well enough.

Sounds like you got a great deal! (How come you didn't look in the trunk before you bought??)

Thanks for all the feed back so far everyone, I have to say this has been a nice warm 350Z welcome.

LOL, I did look in the trunk before I bought it. I don't think I explained myself to well in my first post. I test drove then looked in the trunk where I found the Luggage for the first time.

After closer examination, I see that this luggage is made by an After-Market company called RoadsterBag, so it's not official Nissan Luggage.

But I did a little research online and found an eBay store that seems to sell the complete RoadsterBag range.

Take a look:

http://stores.ebay.com/RoadsterBag-Luggage-USA

It may not be the $600 Nissan Luggage but the set I got with the car is great quality and fits the car perfectly and with a $230 retail value I think its a real nice added extra to my new car purchase.

I have to say even though mine came with the car after seeing how good this is I definitely would have bought it myself. I also think that maybe the official luggage is over priced because it carries the Nissan name. :s

Take a look at the eBay store, they have a bunch of pics of the luggage with the cars and let me know what the rest of the 350Z Forum members think of it.

The E-bay stuff only has two bags, the Nissan luggage set has 4. But looks like the "official" Nissan set is for the coupe, so don't know if all 4 pieces would fit in the roadster. Which did you get, the 4 piece set or the 2 piece version?

Either way, could be a great deal.

Morningglorie,

My 350Z came with the 2 Piece RoadsterBag Luggage Set.

I would definitely recommend this luggage to other 350 Z owners, for the price this is a great buy. It's really good quality inside and out and fits the 350 great!

For anyone that hasn't seen it yet check out their eBay store:
