Default First time 350ZR, what now?

just bought a 2005 350Z Roadster. has some miles on it, 19k, and it has alot of aftermarket ups.

has:

Pioneer Double Head Unit with NAVI, XM radio, iPod hookup, 20" Staggered Chrome Rims, Rear view Camera, 4 JL Audio W6 10's, all JL Audio mids and highs, and 2 JL Audio Amps.

Also has Greddy catback Exhaust, 4" inch pipes, and AEM cold air intake. HID lights, and some aftermarket led lights.

I wasn't planning on doing any of these upgrades to mycar, but they came with the vehicle; at a price i couldn't say no.

I am almost 30 yrs old and i feel like a teenager again; but i can handle it.

anyways, i was wondering what to do now?

maintanence, etc.

any constructive advice or input is appreciated.

(will post pics later)

20" rims? good lord...those rims honestly don't belong on a Z or any sports car for that matter unless you are doing it purely for show.

Well, welcome ot the forums. Just surf around...you'll gain insightful knowledge just being on there.

if your not sure how the car was maintained I'd take it to dealer or local shop you trust & have them give it a go over. Change oil, filter, etc.

Not a fan of the wheels but I am certain that if u don't like em you can sell them for good $$$ and get some awesome replacements. I think Gunmetal or hyperblack with a chrome lip -19"s would look great! I have the same car and may have to get the rear view Camera as well as some better sounds. I hope you got a steal and congrats man.

i completely agree, the 20" rims definitely slow it down.

i am taking to the dealership on thursday to get an oil change and inspection. on the phone they suggested i get a "15k maintanence package" but it sounded like a $220 oil change to me (who needs new windershield wiper blades when you never drive the car in the rain). i somewhat trust them , but then again it is the delaership.

if i bought new rims and tires, what would you suggest?

what else could i do to improve performance?

This is up to what you like. Alot of different looks out there. I think the Hyper-Black and the Gunmetal with the Chrome lip looks best - I am assuming from the pic that this car is SS. If CS then the gloss black looks nice also. I would say some 19"s. You just have to see what's out there that u like.

Damn - so many things - so many different answers they will probably tell you to search but seriously helps out greatly. I think i will go all bolt on until it is paid for next year then maybe turbos.

this is my first 350 ZR, so not much to compare it to.

but i definitely feel that the size of the rims give the ride a very rough feel (definitely not a performance upgrade)

road construction, potholes, and the uneven payment in Ohio doesn't help either.

i am trying to decide what to do about it.

i not a racer, and i'm not a teenager trying to show off either. i'm not sure what direction to go with this car.
