06 Z Hood needs to be repainted
I just got this car 2 months ago and i noticed some spots on the hood that wouldn't come off when i was waxing it..I brought it back to my dealer..They said they will repaint the hood for me..
Is there anything i have to be concerned about.....Paint matching, etc...I'm wonderingf if they are going to re-paint the hood on the car or remove the hood and paint it seperately....
My appointment is this coming monday
any help would be appreciated

What type of spots? Send a photo? You may want to try picking up some paint clay, first. The best I've found is from Griot's Garage -- get some paint clay and some of the Speed Shine and see if that does the trick.
I've had great luck with this stuff:

When I got my Z, they did a horrible job washing it (water spots, adhesive still on the paint) and I clayed + used sealant, looks fantastic now.
But ... after 2 months, the dealer shouldn't have a problem matching paint. You could always ask them to just credit the money towards the purchase of a CF hood or something?

The hood should be removed, primed and painted. Since the underside is OK, I assume that the shop will leave it alone. Considering that the cause of the defect is unknown, I think that the dealer is providing an excellent service.
