Default Just got my Z!-(SOCAL) Is it supposed to be this bumpy?

What's up everyone!

I just got my Black 06 350Z enthusiast on Saturday and am loving it more and more......... Couple of questions though:

1) Is the ride supposed to be this bumpy when driving over un-even roads? Its a very smooth ride when the road is nice though......

2) I'm getting the Nismo exhaust put on....... Is there any reason to wait to install this, say like after the engine is "broken in"?

This is basically my first sports car and am still learning how to drive it but my god what a difference from my last car!!! I owned a 01 Mitsubishi Galant LS with Eibach springs and CAI (only mods I did to it) Oh, and chrome 18'' wheels. Seriously night and day in the way it handles.

Also, if anyone knows of any meets or events in So Cal, could you let me know.

Thanks!

Jo

welcome welcome. enjoy the car yeah its a little bumpy the suspension but you will apreciate it during hard corners and high speed! no need to wait for the exhaust but it should be done for more sound not power. the NA engine doesnt really put out with bolt ons unless tuned and even then your looking at 15 whp.. enjoy bro!

+1 on above. Sports suspension is always tight and therefore, not designed to absorb bumps. Nissan offeres a longer warranty on Nismo add-ons if installed at the time of purchase (same length as the b2b coverage) so go ahead and put on the exhaust; you'll love the sound!

Thanks for the info guys!
I forgot to mention that I will also be adding the nismo S-tune suspension and sway bars this weekend. I cant wait! Probably go through the stock tires before I get 19'' wheels.

Oh, and thanks to Performance Nissan for hooking me up! If youre looking to buy a Z, I definitely recommend them!

Have you looked into their group buy for the Nismo Exhaust? Or did you get a better deal for them? Here is the link for the group buy!

Thanks for the heads up ASTIG Z but I actually purchased them at the dealership with 10% off so I think i got a decent deal on them. (Plus no shipping costs)

Exhaust $935.00 - 10%
Sway Bars $385.00 - 10%
Suspension $1385.00 - 10%

Something like $2400.00 without install......

Read good things about a shop down here in South OC "Corner 3 Garage" so I'll get the stuff installed there. Too much to get the dealer to install... I think they quoted me almost twice as much.

Welcome and congratulation. The 350Z suspension is great: its the roads that are in terrible condition.
