Default what to do...

Iam going to buy a car in a month and Ive been thinking about the
350z but there are alot of drawbacks...

the 07 hood is plain ugly so no.
the 06 has oil consumption problems.
the new model for the z should be coming out soon? no?
I could wait for the g35 coupe but I have no idea when that is coming out.

Get a 350Z and get a warranty with it, I bought an 03 the car only has 19K on it right now and I got a 60K or 5 year extended warranty on it.

the 06 has oil consumption problems.not all cars, that is like saying all 2003 had tire feathering
the new model for the z should be coming out soon? no?you already said it had a ugly hood, so why worry if it is coming out yet

I could wait for the g35 coupe but I have no idea when that is coming out.the G35 coupe came out before the 350Z, where have you been hiding

I was talking about the new 2008 g35 coupe which hasnt come out yet. I was
wondering when thats avaible.

IMO, '07 hood isnt that bad, after seeing several picks from different angles.

Anyhow that should not factor in because you stated that you are in the market for used Z, correct?
So find a solid used '06, not all have oil consumption problems. Warranty will cover any issues you should run into.

Good luck,

^I have no problems with mine, as yet. (knocks on wood)

Just test drive as many as possible before you decide. Oh and always get it checked by a trusted mechanic.

Good luck,

Default Oil Consumption?

I have a very new 2006 Z and wonder what this buzz about oil consumption problem is? I had not heard that, of course I would never hear it from the dealer.

Has anyone had it, can it be fixed?

I only have about 150 miles on it, so obviously I don't know if I have that problem.
