I went in to buy a black Enthusiast model with no options and left with a base model in SMB with a Nismo VLSD and almost every addon they add for two grand less then what they wanted for the black Enthusiast. Felt like the first time I haven't been ripped off when buying a car.

So the dealer offered to throw in the VLSD and install it if I would buy a loaded base model, right. They told me the part was under warranty because it was Nismo, right. Nothing to worry about in case it breaks, right? Wrong! 
They call me up and tell me the manager would like to have a meeting with me and we schedule an appointment. I show up next week for the meeting to find out that he isn't even there. One of the sales guys comes up and tells me that they can't warranty the part after all and offers me $1,000. The only reason I even bought the base was because they told me the part was warrantied AND they would install it. They quoted me the part at over a thousand dollars not including install...
Needless to say I had them install the VLSD anyway since there seemed to be little I could do. As far as performance goes, it's been a joy. Can tell a big difference in the way it drives around town! I love it! Only complaints with it is that it's amazingly loud. Every turn I make all I hear is popping sounds, whether it's parking or on the street. Reading the forums here it sounds almost like a pretty common thing for the Nismo VLSD. Anyone else have it and experience this?
