For those whose Z is their Daily Driver...
Do you think you are 'abusing' your Z when you daily drive it?
I mean, by like driving to work everyday, parking in uncovered lots (well, this part u can't help much..but still)...basically, having only one car - which is ur Z.
Do you feel the Z deserves much finer treatment (like driven only on weekends, occasions etc) in the bottom of ur heart?

I love my Z being my DD, I wouldnt of had chosen the Z for my 'weekend' car or only nice out car. I would of gone w/ something a bit nicer maby a Z06 or Viper or something. I think the Z is a great DD + track car =) It's good for about everything :P Except for that snow though!

It's a Z, not a Lambo or Bugatti or any other exotic super car, just a Z. It's great if you want to take care of your car and keep it clean, but try not to make it out to be more than what it really is, a 35k sports car. There are mini-vans and suv's that cost more than our beloved cars, so please stop acting as if you own some rare collectible that nobody can afford. Drive the car and enjoy yourself... my .02

It's my only car... so I drive it every day. I try to be careful where I park it and I cover it when I park at work -- with an OEM custom car cover (unless it's raining).
I bought it with the intent of driving it every day. I enjoy driving it.

Its a $30K car...yes its nice...but nothing that would cause me to keep it in a climate controlled garage all the time. I plan on purchasing a commuter car at some point...but thats just simply an issue of rising gas prices and constant construction on my route to work.
Other than that...its a great DD that deserves to be driven.

Daily Driving a car has nothing to do with how you treat/maintain your car. Driving it only on the weekends just means you have to clean it/work on it less. There is additional wear and tear, but for the most part you're much better off buying a well-maintained DD than an abused/ignored weekender. </$.02

When I get mine it will most likely be garage kept "when not used" and wont be commuted with. Since I live out in the country its my fun/project/show car for the country road and goin into town or mall but wont be a weekend driver more like everyday just no commute. I commute about 60-70+ miles a day, I wouldnt do that to a sports car well for me thats too many miles. But Im not gonna just keep it as a weekend driver I agree i cant see that unless someone is tryin to keep the insurance down or its very heavily modded other then that I can only see someone doin that to keep insurance possibly down.
But to some car crazed people sometimes a 30k sports car is more to them then someone with a 50k+ sports car. I have a 07 camry I4 and I baby the **** out of it; mainly cause I want to keep it till it dies.
