Default Deciding what to get

Hello all i am new to this forum and i just got a few questions So like the title says "Deciding What To Get" I know i am going to get a 07 Z but i dont know what trim level should i go. I want to mod my car so should i just get the base trim? I was thinking of the Touring trim with the Navi any feed back would be helpful thanks.

Also... how did you guys/gals learn manual??? i really want my Z to be in manual but i dunno how to drive it lol none of my friends/family do either. Is there instructors that teaches manual? I live in LA thanks.

Base is great for a *****-OUT Buildup, but you do loose Cruise Control and need to buy and LSD

Enth is the most popular "Cheap" way to get in.

Touring if you must have Leather.

GT if you want Brembo Stock...

Yes. Instructions come with every 350Z.

If ya want to learn how to drive a stick find some one who has one and get them to show you how.
If that isn't an option look for a drivers ed class in your local phone book and call and ask if they have an instructoor who can help you.

Honestly you probably should not learn on the Z.

And another thing why don't they teach this in HS anymore???? It shoud be required B4 you get a permit IMO

Cheers

Sometimes the salesman at the dealership will teach you. It's better to take a class though.

Enthusiast is best bang for buck and gets you all of the basics.

Learning to drive a MT just ain't that big a deal. Class, friend, etc can teach you easily. You could learn on Z. My son did with no damage.

Welcome to the forum. Plenty of time to learn to drive manual and to find your perfect Z.

Lots of folks believe you're better off buying an independent portable Magellan unit or similar for less than half the price.

Not that the factory nav doesn't work, just that it's outrageously expensive. And think of how technology changes so fast. Factory built-ins are outdated more quickly.

Me, I bought a $5.99 stick-on compass at the auto parts store. I've been called "overly frugal" by some. ;-)
