Talking Had my Z 2 Months

Just wanted to introduce myself, My name is Joe from Greensboro, NC, and I am addicted to this forum . I bought a 2007 Enthusiast 6-speed (Carbon Silver). I am loving the car so far. I have put 2000 miles on it all ready. I have a 98 Honda civic for a daily driver, but some days I can't resist taking the Z to work. I do have a newbe question tho. When I was test driving the car the salesman told me that they recommend using reg unleaded in the Z. I was thinking no way is that possible. I have been putting Premium in it tho. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

use premium....more power and less preignition knock. you'll be happier with the performance...might as well be safe than sorry

Great photo.

You need to burn premium gas. At least 91 Octane.

Read your manual. Neebies who don't read manual get crucified here.

Thanks man, Yeah I read alot of the manual. I was just kinda dumbfounded by him (salesman) telling me that. I was thinking man you are kidding right? Anyways I usually buy premium, or at least 91 octane.

That is a very unusual photo. Is that an actual Shell gas station? If so, did the people who own the house run the station? That looks like a very cool piece of Americana. Oh yea, a big thumbs up on the car!

What does the manual say> Put it in your bathroom and I bet you end up reading it!

And tell the dealer they need to stop buying Meth!

Welcome and congratZ on the 07. Fascinating photo. Being a Z owner, you'll be very used to frequent visits to the gas station.

I won't say anything about shelling out for gas. Cool picture. Looks like banana or strawberry flavored gas was the choice. Welcome and drive that Z!
