Default At last...I can die happy

Got my Z roadster last night...seems like I waited forever to find the right one and get a good deal!

certified 05 chrome roadster enthusiast.

16k miles, totally mechanically sound, but the body needs a lot of work - really dinged up and there is even a crack in the front bumper. which is fine because I have plans for this car anyways!

Had a great experience at Universal Nissan in Universal City, CA - After being given the run-around at some other places, I would def recommend them. Price was $25,375: but just a little less than $28,000 out the door with tax/reg/financing. I don't know how good of a deal that was, but I was willing to pay it and feel very satisfied!

Paid with a big down payment, got a really fair deal on my trade (03 accord coupe v6 6-sp black/black leather...but with 85k and needs brakes), and they even financed my lousy butt for the small remainder <- really bad credit, not my fault, you know the deal.

I was so super happy driving it the 90 miles home last night at midnight, but I really embarrassed this morning when I had to call the dealership to find out how to get it into reverse - wow I still feel so stupid! But I am soooo happy! The stock exhaust sounds so mean I think

pix are from the website, haven't even had a chance to take my own.

Congratulations! I see from your join date that you must have spent a few weeks doing some research. Beautiful car. I wish the weather up here was more conducive to having a roadster.

CongratZ and you play safe out there. No more reference to the title of your thread.

Aw thanx everyone for your "official" welcome

yes, I have been on here before I bought the car to do research. I knew I wanted a Z since it was announced, before I even had my driver's license - but this site really helped me get the trim levels & years straight, possible problems, learn about cool mods I might be interested in, etc - so I am glad to be here officially!

Got $8500 for my trade...not fabulous and nothing to brag about, but with 85k and needing minor work, I really wasn't getting any interested buyers. Even though it was a really bomb accord, its still an accord, and the normal ones (4 cyl AT sedans with less milage and lower price) are more in demand. oh well. I have my Z now and couldnt be happier. woo hoo

oh yeah, and don't worry I am being really safe in my new car! I've done a lot of stupid things in general and haven't gotten hurt yet, so I will be ok!

Congrats and welcome to the forums. Roadsters rule!

Be sure to check out the "Roadsters" page and post there, too. We roadster owners are the few, the proud...gee, that sounds familiar....

Anyway, please don't die anytime soon. Too many accidents in Zs are written about on this board. Don't join that list.

Aw thanx everyone! sorry, my poor accord is gone! its only the Z now (and my ninja and my CBRr and my F150...lonely huh )

I am SO loving my Z r. I feel like its a Transformer like bumblebee and I am in love with it. (PS I'm a Girl! so its not weird.) I feel like I got a hot new boyfriend who doesnt talk smack. = my Z.

If I got ripped, F-it, because I feel like I got a deal. I was willing to pay more for this car, and got exactly what I want. I guess they say, Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it?

ARG I love my car...already been perusing the Zr threads as well as all the mods and others too...so hi everyone and thanx for the welcomes!

hmm!!!I can't believe they left the car like that, needing body work. Congrats on a Z, but I think you could've gotten a better deal at least.
