Previous owner was an idiot and did not believe in changing brake pads. So I took out the rear pads. The pad on the inside was completly gone, down to the metal. The other side (outer pad) had about a .25 inch left. My question is it normal for one side to run out before the other? I have yet to pull out the pads on the other side and I still need to pull the rotors to inspect and see if any serious damage has been done.

The kicker... it had nice 19" volk gts the rims are caked with asbestos and it appears they have started to rust the wheels. Unbelivable, is there anyway to clean this out?
