I think I went through mock labour for mine.

I didn't test drive mine. Didn't test drive one at all. Sales manager asked me about it.
"I want to lose my cherry in my own car." I told him.
He nodded his head because he understood.
I knew how fast it was. How it drove. The skid pad numbers. Little understeer, turn by using the throttle. I already knew all of that. The only things I needed to know was how it looked in person. And how it felt. I sat in a 06 GT MT6 at the dealership. Carbon Silver. They were willing to part with it for 10K less than an 07. I sat in it. Loved it right away. Loved the lines right away. The steering wheel. The ambiance inside the car. Feels like a roomy 2 seater. Thing was that the 07 had a very new engine, the HR, dual intake, taller engine with the sexy lift in the hood. Wanted new.
When I first saw the Airstream Silver, wow. Such a classy look and the lines stand out and aren't hidden by bright colors. The small spoiler adds to the overall look, the whole car looks nice with just a bit of lowering.
Love the looks. You don't see them every day. Today coming out of the parkade, some workers saw me and started talking and smiling. I smiled back, cause I love driving this car.

I live in Winnipeg too...but I have to wait until April 08' before I take delivery! I am soooooooo jealous!!!! I was also looking at vettes but there are so many out there. Good choice neighbor! I'm going for the carbon color so I'll be sure to look for ya next summer on one of those cruise nites DOWNTOWN!!!
I'm getting mine at Crown Nissan as well, go see Ryan or Nick, they were so helpful & patient. They really know CUSTOMER SERVICE with NO pressure!
If you see a guy in a blue Dakota next to you at a red light intersection drooling it's probably me!!!
Enjoy your ride Dude!!!

Rear wheels are 19". Yes to the leather. Every option but the navigator. Little too much for something I have in my phone. Ok, will get some more pics. Such a task! lol.

I'm getting the GT coupe /M6 in carbon w/ black leather interior! I couldn't get an 07' with a black leather...remaining cars left in Canada had only burnt orange leather! Besides, 8 months isn't that long to wait for my 08'...wait a sec...that is a very long time, who am I kidding!!! Oh well, as I said before, the snow's gonna fly sooner than later...Personally, getting one this time of year would seem short-lived only because of our climate! Come spring (April 08') my baby will be in my garage & on the streets ripping it up all over the Peg' !!!
I'm not much of a MOD-kind-o person but I will dress her up nice with a new set of tires & rims possibly, but after seeing your pics I'm wondering if I really need to. I'm hoping they will be the same! I wouldn't mind an after-market exhaust but there are so many to choose from !!
Oh yeah, I think I'm leaning towards NOT getting the nav system as I cannot justify the price-tag for this piece of electronics!!! Any one think otherwise???

Good choice. Leave the nav out, you can buy a cheap garmin if you really need it and throw it in the cubby. I have one that adds on to my Treo 700wx, bluetooth puck on the dash and I'm off. If you got the GT Coupe, then you will get those tires and rims, and the Brembo brakes. The Fast Intentions Intimidator is awesome. Everyone, I mean everyone, comments on the sound. I was out for a few hours today and had a lot of people smiling and looking, guy pulled up in his toyota and asked if I wanted to swap cars because mine was beautiful. Again, another day of driving where I didn't see one 350. I don't see a lot of them here at all. Had a new vette, one of the cheaper ones, following me today on jubilee looking. I tell you, I still think they are nice, but not exotic looking at all.
I'm getting quotes on a touch screen for the cubby in the front, and then a dvd player in one of the compartments behind me, sound wired in to the bose. That will be about all I do internal, also thinking that I will change my fron reflectors to clear/white instead of the orange.

Vettes are nice, but there are sooooo many out there! One-of-a-kind is what I like to hear & see if you own a Zee !
I agree with the reflector idea, but I am looking into ordering the replacement ones with the LED's for added illumination, but so far I have only seen one style. Reflectors are for bicycles...why Nissan did this is beyond me!

The ones I have seen with 5 little led's in them look cheap to me so I will pass. If the whole reflector lit up evenly then I would be interested. Two days now I have cruised around and seen no Z's anywhere. I've seen 3 vettes, 2 S2000's (sorry, but what an ugly car) and a couple of Z3/4's.
It's funny, since ordering my Zee I always notice them...before that I don't think I remember seeing any! What part of the city are you in? I'm in East Kildonan. Have you installed an alarm yet? I know they have an immobilizer installed from the factory. You're not parking that beast on the street...?
If you don't mind me asking, how much extra did you pay for your car with all the aftermarket stuff? How much to fill that thing with our gas prices?
I still haven't seen ya yet! Remember...I'm in the blue dakota...drooling!

I was out looking for you last night on portage. The extra's, sways/coilovers/stillin intake, greddy heat sheild/FI Int. Exhaust added 1500 to my total. No, not parking on the street. In an alarmed garage and in a parkade.
Gas, premium, I haven't filled, but from half it was 40 dollars. Yes, you get the immobilizer discount from MPI. All in, 2 mill/200 deduct/new car insurance, etc, it is about 139 a month.

Yeah, that insurance rate looks comparable to my estimate done online. I ain't gonna do a Sunday Cruise until I actually HAVE my Zee !! You don't know how much it pains me to see them on the road...I passed one in traffic this morning (blue roadster). $1500 for all that extra stuff, what a deal!!

...and all I can say is that I am a very lucky guy. Great job. Great Friends. Great kids. And best of all a great relationship. Getting married in March and I can't wait. She loves the car as much as I do. And the kids....anytime I take my car out out one of them wants to come for the ride. Any rude comments please keep to yourself, think people who talk like pigs should take it elsewhere. Otherwise, why would anyone want to put up nice pictures if all they are going to hear is rude crap.
Love this car as much now as I did the first day.

Some days I wonder who's more excited about getting the new car next year...me or her ! I rarely mention it to family & friends, but she's always blurting out to her people that she'll be cruising around doing her shopping-thing & picking up friends! I'd hate to burst her bubble but it ain't going nowhere unless I'm riding SHOTGUN! Oh she's good with the clutch (she's actually owned a manual Nissan before) so she's quite capable...but this is "MY" baby! She's actually picking up a Murano this fall as she wants an SUV...so she'll have her own. She's just a little pissed that I ordered my 350z in Carbon as that was her color of choice !!!...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
Nice pics Shad...at the Forks were ya? Still haven't seen ya'round! Looks like you cruise in the evenings...sun has set in most of your shots! We'll butt heads sooner or later....I really want to hear that FI exhaust, youtube doesn't do it any justice!

I'll be out this evening after the Patriots/Chargers game, up and down Portage a few times for sure. Where abouts do you cruise later on? Yes, I'm sure I will have to be letting her drive, and she has had a manual before too, but I have stated a rule. "One grind....one time." It is one thing to drive a 5 speed Sentra, another to drive a sportscar with a heavy clutch that can be squirrly with all that horsepower to the rear wheels.
Talked to Nick and Ryan yesterday at Crown. Was telling them we message in here, this was as I was dropping 60 dollars on the cargo net for the back. What is the profit on that thing.....probably about 55 dollars!
Yes, I usually go out in the evenings. Find it more relaxing in the evenings.
Maybe see you this evening.

Appreciated EvanV. Where in Canada are you? Funny how I get up early on weekends lately. House is quiet, I can get out for my coffee, love sitting at the Tims on St. James with the paper watching peoples reactions in the drive through. Cheap thrill, but I'm guilty.
Yes, Nissan did a pretty good job for stock rims. I see no reason to change them as they fit the car, especially the dark and light silver colors.
