2006 LeMans Sunet - first new car ever!
After 10 years of driving older Z's and older cars in general I finally am able to get myself something 'late model'
I picked up a used 2006 base model Z last Friday. I haven't even had it a week yet. Of course I love the car completely. It had only 3200 miles on it when I bought it.
PO bought the kick plates, floor mats, and cargo net. Besides that, all stock.
One TPM sensor is out right now so I need to get that looked at soon.
I really need to stop and get some better pictures too. The dealer took these three.
Future plans are VLSD swap, 20% tint, mad eyes headlight trim, and an oil change.

I like the wheels too. I usually change my factory wheels out on all my cars but these I really like the style of. I may just leave them for a while; besides the fact that I have practically new tires so why change to 19's so soon?
The car has the basic sound system with no subwoofer. I'm really impressed with the bass response of the factory speakers! I may just leave it all stock as for the sound system. One more reason for someone NOT to break into it.

well, I did have some decent sound systems in my older Z's but the speaker placement in a 280ZX is horrible. I'll just drive it for a while and see how things go.
Is there a thread here on factory systems? ...any other audio outputs on this factory deck for an amp?

I just realized this factory CD player does not reconize MP3. I guess that was 2007? anyway, with that in mind I most certainly will get rid of it and go aftermarket. I had thought at first that 2006+ had Cd/MP3 from Nissan.
thanks for the welcome guys

Yep, the '06's with the Bose system(wasn't stock on the base or enthusiast)take MP-3s. Congratulations on the color and that car with such low mileage. Check the Northwest sub-forums under "Regionals". It is pretty active and a lot of nice people check in often there.
