My '03 Touring!
Hey guys, just signed up for membership to the forums today cause I finally bought my Z. I got an '03 Redline 6-speed Touring. Its got 32,725 miles and is in immaculate condition. I paid $19,800 for it and I was wondering if that sounds fair? I thought so but I'd like your opinion... Got it from a private party. The car also came with a transferrable 3rd party warranty that covers everything (bumper to bumper) until 2012 or 90k miles. Just wondering if you think I got a good deal or not, or did a pay a bit much?
Also, the car is running great except I am now experiencing that classic 3rd gear grind when shifting over 5k rpms. I am a bit pissed about it
but if I take her easy in 2nd it shifts amazing. I can probably live with it for now but since I have the warranty I may take it in to be looked at. I was just wondering if any of you with '03s live with the same problem and if you think its serious enough for me to get it looked at right away? Other than that it runs great.

Congrats on your purchase
. Sounds like you got an excellent deal to me. I picked up a 03 redline touring 6spd for around $15800..well mine had 73k on it though. As for the 3rd gear grind...well I havent had any problems with mine. I really dont even know what to look for in terms of what it is exactly
Hopefully another forum member will chime in on this thread who has some experience with it. Either way...welcome to the club

Welcome and congrats. Sounds like a good deal to me, but at this point it is irrelevant. You would enjoy the car no matter what you had decided to pay. Since you are still under warranty, I'd take it in to have it checked out.
Any pics of this nice car?
