Default New 350 owner but not Z's

Whats up guys? Love the forum and Im a proud new owner of a 03 Redline Track Editiion. I've owned modded Z32TT's for a while and decided to try out a 350. I run tracks a fair amount and I've heard that Z33's are better on the track than Z32's looks like I'll be finding out pretty soon. Take it easy and Merry Christmas.

Congrats on the new purchase! I'd be interested in knowing your Z32 vs. Z33 track comparison opinion. I've heard the brakes were a real weak point with the Z32s.
Enjoy the ride.

Stock brakes suck on the Z32 so I put R33 calipers and rotors on and they helped tremendously. Last time at the track I couldnt make the brakes fade I was very surprised.

I do as of right now. I got to keep something around with a lot of power. All my money as for now is in my Z32 and I know I wouldnt be satisfied if i sold it and just kept the 350 right now. I dont even have my 350 yet its in TX waiting on someone to ship it out here to me and I'm getting very impatient.

Congrat, from what I've felt the Z32 is more comfortable to drive but the 350Z is more ergonomic with everything in the right place. The suspension is a little tighter on the Z33 that increases handling.

I like the 5 speed and clucht setup better then the 6 spd in the 350Z its smoother, also the radio porbably better in the Z32. Of course NA wise the 350Z runs away from the Z32, but stock TTZ32 is faster if its running and setup right then the 03-06 Z33.

How much hp does your mod TTZ32 put out? 350 or 500hp? Inqurying minds want to know.

It puts out 409 to the rear wheels on stock turbos. I have the 740cc injectors so i can turn up the boost to 18. I plan on putting 675's on soon. Its a joy to drive, it just seems like here lately everytime I drive it something breaks but thats cars. You have a Z32?

How does the 350 drive compared to your 300? I currently have a Z32 that's for sale in the marketplace on here. Its similar to yours but at 15psi with stock injectors. I was going to get a 350Z since I'm looking for something a little newer yet sporty but everyone is telling me that I'm an idiot if I sell it for a 350Z, so I don't know what to do anymore.

Well if i could only have one it would have to be the Z32. The Z33 is awesome but to make big hp your gonna be spending a heck of a lot more money on the Z33 than the Z32. The reason I bought the 350 is because I wanted to have a track car and a high hp car. So now Im gonna put 675's on my Z32 and I still have a track car. If you can only choose one I would definitely choose the Z32.

You dont need 740cc injectors if your running stock turbos. If you upgrade your turbos to the sport 600 then you would upgrade to 555cc injectors and the ECU would have to be remapped. BTW I had a 91TT auto and with stock injectors and turbos I was boosting 18psi no problems. What the hell is a 675? I think that your story is

I had a TT and it was nice but, it was old and gave me a lot of problems. I prefer the 350Z over the TT any day. I drive an 07Z and I dont miss my 300ZX.

Well obviously you dont know that much about Z32 my friend. Yes you can boost up to 18 psi on stock injectors and stock turbos but as a pre requisite to going to GT675RS turbos you have to install 740cc injectors. So when you have the plenum off to replace gaskets why wouldnt you just go ahead and put in 740cc injectors instead of having to pull it back off later???? WOW! thats a bright idea! No my story is not BS! Maybe you should think a little bit harder next time before you go calling BS on someone.

FYI this is what 675 means!

Also something else to add a Z32 is just as reliable as a Z33 if you take care of the car. The only way to get big HP numbers from a Z is to go FI pretty much. You already have a TT car now so your set. It will cost less to make the same hp out of a Z32 than a Z33.

I think that your plan to have a track car with the 350Z and a high hp powered Z32 is the way to go. The Z32 does have more 3rd party mods that cost less and the TTZ32 is already setup for TT and some just have to be bolted on.

Did you see the video of the 7.5 second 1/4 mile 350Z!! No telling what he spent to build that. What does a 409hp Z32 run in a 1/4?

If you were to read my post my friend I had allready said what you just repeated. My 91TT was @18psi on stock turbos/injectors. But why would you run 740cc injectors if you dont have the upgraded turbos yet? And you said you were getting 675 but not everyone knows what your talking about. Now you are being more clear that you are getting the Z1 GT675RS Turbos.

P.S. I know plenty about Z cars cause I have owned Z's since I was 17. starting with 1982 280ZXT,1986 Z31T,1991 Z32TT,2007 Z33.
