The engine is the same between the 5AT and 6MT.

Except in 05 and 06. 05 35th AEs 6MTs were different. 5ATs in 06 had the older motor.

My point was the fact that an engine mod will work the same regardless of transmission.

It will work the same but you still will come up with less WHP on the 5AT opposed to the MT,even with identical mods.
