Default new 06' Z owner!

I just wanted to say hello to home of the Z. This has been my dream car for years, and I have finally become able to buy one. This friday I picked up an 06 enthusiast, 6spd, it was a one owner w/ 23,000 miles. Trading in my 06 Si sedan - wow! what a different car. I'll be posting picks once it stops raining down here in Florida - later fellow z owners

Big congrats man! I go to USF as well. Check out my thread here: https://my350z.com/forum/new-owners/338646-2006-enthusiast-6m.html

What color is your car, if you don't mind me asking? Yeah, the recent rain has really put a damper on the opportunity to enjoy my new car, but hey, I have patience.

Welcome to Z family. Are you thinking of modifying your Z, or keeping it just as is?

Sounds good bro. Perhaps if we don't run into each other at school, we can chill outside of school...go cruising or whatever. Feel free to shoot me a PM.

I would only do this if you notice the oil level decreasing. Its a lot easier to check the oil yourself than to have testing done at the dealership.

definitely bro, I'll shoot you a pm since we're both new to the Z world!
Thanks for the warning about the oil consumption - I've checked it twice since I got it on friday - no difference

I check the oil level in my 'O4 Touring Coupe every 2 weeks; I recommend you do it every other day, for the first month or two, then go down to 3 times a week, until
you're absolutely certain it doesn't have that problem. Good luck & congrats!
