No, he can't get back out of this.

He's provoked the Off-Topic crew, and now he must see what happens when we're provoked.

I laughed when one of the guys over there referred to the RX8 as a "sports car".

Yet you don't even know the difference between "your" and "you're". Sure you aren't just imagining that scholarship?

I found it funny when he stopped posting in the useless thread when Dave pointed out that it was the same IP as Kspec.

New Car Help
Im a junior in high school looking for a new car. I have always like the rx-8 since it came out but lately as ive been researching more I have been really leaning towards the rx-8. I want a car to go to and from school, friends houses, mall, movies, friendly races, and has good performance. The only drawback i see is the mpg and oil and probably insurance.

I need your views on the pros and cons of the rx-8. I realize this is a biased site but i need as much cons as pros, seriously I need to know everything. Oh and I can drive manual.

as far as gas prices- the mpg is rated the same as my mom's s500 so i sort of understand the gas prices. To tell you the truth, with my job, I am not terribly concerned with gas, that was just the only neg i could find. As far as the friendly races thing i just meant every once in a while ill drive like a jackass to show off to friends to get my speed fix. And i have driven an rx8 and still really like it

He posted this at RX8club
ha i just read it that is funny. but as for the "friendly races" you guys are giving me a hard time for it. I don't know why either i know all of you have done a lil red light to redlight challenge with a friend or a car lined up at the light revving at you. I don't even get why that would change anything, I would do that with any car. I would just lose cause it would be slower

It's still more powerful that what this kid could handle. No reason to bash the RX8.

Again, more than what a 17 year old with no driving experience could handle. BTW it weighs a lot less than the Z, I test drove one before getting the HR, it is decently quick and nimble.

That car might not have grunt, but its lighter weight and better distribution means it handles better than our Z. It IS a sports car, man. It's even possible that car might get him in trouble faster than this one.

At least with the Z, most people have an "oh ****" moment when they stomp the gas in a low gear on less than ideal surfaces. In the RX, he might really think he IS Andretti and take hairpins as fast as possible, brake at the wrong moment, and.... splat.... Doogie pancakes.

Exactly. It fits the sports car definition just as well as the Z does.

what he said, can't wait for a future thread from you "I wrecked my Z", aparently all 17 year olds are wheel-men and never crash sports car.
