Default Pulled the trigger...

....after owning a 1972 240z about 20 years ago I decided I wanted to get another Z. I went out and picked this up...comments/suggestions?

Here are a few pics I stole from their website.

I am looking forward to reading some of the info on the forum.

Thanks All! Yeah...one of the reasons I bought is the low mileage and the color. You dont see to many with the IF paint scheme. Not sure on mods, never was much of a mechanic per say but you never know with a new hobby. Plus I am sure I will read some of the post on here and that could easily change.

Stay away if you want to keep your wallet full. Once the bug bites, its all over from there. Enjoy the new ride.

JW - You got a great car! Lots of desirables already in place.
Nice color and excellent condition. Don't speed on I-4...
Wishful thinking huh. Congratzzz

Sexy! What are your thoughts on it so far as a new owner? I've never had one, been building up 300ZX TT's for years, was thinking about picking up a 350 for a daily driver sometime this summer.

Oh...it is so hard not to speed on I4 at times...actually all the time.

I love it! I was able to take my time and shop for the one that made me decide to buy. My only suggestion is dont settle...keep looking till you find the "one"

I find myself looking for reasons to get out of the house and take it for a spin!!

How much did you pay?
I wanted a GT Z but they wouldn't discount over $3500
So, I got the Touring Z instead.

I got out the door at 23.5k with my trade. I traded my 2000 tundra on it.

First suggestion, keep tabs on your oil level. The main issue with 2006 models is some of the revup engines having excess oil consumption. Would be covered under warranty, just a heads up.

Thanks for the heads up! Going to run by the dealer this weekend and have them take a look at it and do the oil.

Welcome, looks like you're back into the Z fold, and the Z hobby is just warming up again.

Tell us about your 240!!!

About the only thing I can tell you about my '72 240Z is I was stupid for getting rid of it. I have missed it over the years and always vowed to get another. Even though the car has changed over the years....you still get that excitement of driving it every time you get behind the wheel. I love my '06 but the '72 was the one that lit the fire so many years ago.

hell, about the only thing better than driving a Z, is starring at one!

Now, you do, don't sell it.
