Default Finally got my Z!

Well after registering a couple of months ago to start learning about the Z I've finally got my own. Picked it up a little over 24 hours ago. I'll list some details about the car including mods cause I know that would be one of the first questions. I was extremely fortunate to find this car. It was the color I wanted and already has the exact mods I would have started with.

2005 Pikes Peak White
6spd Enthusiast

18x9.5 Rota P45R Flat Black +20 offset on all four corners
Kumho 255/35/18 Front - 275/35/18 Rear
K&N drop-in filter
Motordyne 5/16" Plenum Spacer
Ultimate Racing High-Flow Cats
Nismo Cat-back
SPEC Super Twin clutch

Nice of someone to mod it for you. Lol. CongratZ. Many other mods planned???

It must be a PPW's newbies phase this week. Seems to be a few of you.

Congrats on the new purchase! Did you purchase GolfinZ's Z? The mod list sounds similar to his car.

Be sure to post pictures, I'd love to see how the car looks right now

Yeah I bought the car from GolfinZ.

Here's a pic he took of the car. It looks exactly the same as I've only had it for two days now.

Finally got my Z!-my350z.jpg

Im happy it went to someone who wants to know/learn about the car. I wouldn't have sold to car to someone who didn't appreciate it and the work that was put in. Have fun with her

I don't have dyno numbers or anything and I can't remember what Brian said he ran in the 1/4. My butt dyno says it's quicker than my buddy's 04. He's got a short ram induction and Greddy cat-back and is rolling on 19"s. I've got the plenum spacer and high-flow cats all paired with what seems to be a really good tune.

It ran a 13.7 in the 1/4 and put down 245rwhp and 230rwhp without the clutch/fw. It should be a bit higher than last time it was dynoed

Yeah it pulls really hard like it's been tuned right. There's a good bit of suit on the rear bumper after each drive. Makes me wonder if it's running rich or if I'm just picking up that much crap off the road.

It was tuned to an afr of 13.1 so it is probably road debris...I got the same thing when I had her. Since she is recently clay barred and waxed, just wipe it down after a drive and it will look like new

Yeah I just get the quick detailer out if it starts to show. I need to get ahold of Nathan and get more of that quick detailer.

Yeah I actually joined a couple of months ago in anticipation of getting the Z. This seems like an awesome forum so I plan to stick around and get to know some of you folks.
