I've never been happier! It's still hard to believe I actually have it when I walk into my garage. I feel great when I drive it. It's an amazing car!

It's a base model, carbon silver.

I love it! The first 1200 miles are going to be long though haha.

I was wondering, how often does everybody wash/wax their car?

I think you're claying too much man. Claying once a week is gonna strip that paint apart.

I could'nt agree with you more. Claying once a week is way too much. Your going to end up with Swirl marks all over the clear coat. I polish and wax once every 3 months. I wash the car with a carnuba wax soap once a week. My car is garage kept though. So it really isnt exposed to the elements.

I paid right around base price for the car.

Also, I heard that getting a nismo dual intake and a nismo cat back exhaust is a good combo for the Z. Does anyone here have any input on that?

I was going down a steep driveway and my front bumper caught the ground (ouch) I heard a scratching noise so when I got off the driveway I got out and checked under the bumper, just a few scratches, nothing visible, but I think this is going to be a problem in a long run. What's the best way to avoid this? I hear going down the driveway at an angle is the best way, but im wondering if anyone else really has this problem a lot since the Z is quite low to the ground.

Thanks!

Claying won't cause swirls unless he just waxes it right after. He needs to use a cleaner after then a polish then wax. I'm OCD about my Z but I have only clayed it once. Just spent 6 hours today getting the previous owners bad habit of using a car wash our of the paint.

FWIW I use a two bucket wash...rinse the mitt after every use in clean water before putting it into the soap bucket. That keeps swirls way down.

i also take the wheels off the car to wash them from behind.

I need help....
