About to get a Z..
A friend that works at a dealer is saying that they can sell me a base model '07 Z for $18,800. I believe that it is a great deal, but I am not sure if I am doing the right thing. What would you guys recommend me do? Should I get it the base for that price, or get an '05 350z track for 17,800. If you were in my shoes, what would you do?
There are no issues with the cars... the 07 is from my friends dealer, and the '05 is another dealer.
Thanks for the help

Good thing is that the 07 comes with some aftermarket rims and speakers. I am not sure about what the 05 has. All I would have to do is save up for a LSD and I think I will be set for a little bit till I start getting crazy with mods.... I want to save up for a turbo kit in a year or so.

I'm not a fan of the Base model only because I'm an old guy that likes my cruise control and stereo buttons on the steering wheel. But each his own on that score. However, if you are thinking about going FI in a year, then I wouldn't want to do that to an engine that still has a factory warranty. If you want to go FI, I'd go with a '05. You won't be paying a premium for a remaining factory warranty that you would be voiding right away anyway.
I also think you can do way better than that on an '05 enthusiast.
I was agreeing with '07 until I saw this.
