Default new rims and lowering

Hi guys,

I just bought a standard 350z '03 touring.

I'd like to change the rims. what size should i pick? i'm thinking of 18.75".

so i guess i need to get new springs as well so that i can lower the car, what brand/model should i be looking at?

sorry i'm a complete newbie~

Thank you very much,

Kev

Welcome Kev,

There is a whole subsection dedicated to the questions you have asked. In the "tech area" there is a section for wheels and tires and another for suspension. I suggest reading up as much as you can, and when you have specific questions, then create a thread. People can be really nasty to new members, so watch out!

Take a look at the wheels/tires and the Brakes/Suspension sections. Check out the search function on the forums. Sometimes you have to play with the search parameters to get something useful, but you should find lots of information there. FWIW, I like the stock rims.

We all were once. You will find some though that seem to forget that and love to flame folks for asking overly general questions that can be answered in large part by doing a little research first.

Welcome to the forum Kev from over the ditch.

Have a good read up. When you do, stick to the correct rolling radius. If you muck with that you're going to have issues with your tcs/vdc and your abs.
