I'm a newbie and just purchased a 2003 350 Z. It's in mint condition except both map lights by the front roof are out. I checked the bulbs and both are OK. I found an "interior light" fuse but that was ok. It would seem odd that 2 map lights would have their own fuse. I think all of the other lights are on. Any suggestions?

Rich- it's odd that your map lights are out. My pre-order '03 Z has never had any problem with them over the years. When you push on the lights themselves, do you hear the audible 'click' from the light switch as it's depressed? It's usually a extremely reliable component.

 

I agree that it's strange. I removed the covers and manually pushed each switch and nothing. It must be a fuse so I'll check EVERY one by the driver's foot. If you have any other suggestions I'll certainly try it. I'm using an ohm meter for continuity checks.
