hello all. just got a 2004 touring z about a week ago. love the car. i actually got hit in a hit and run the second day i got it and just got it back from the body shop yesterday. other than that, the car is exactly how i though it would be. the car is bone stock for now, but hopefully not for long

 

Dang, that sucks! Second day? How bad was the damage? Congrats nonetheless.

Welcome. The damage can't have been too bad if you've got your Z back already. Even so, not a nice thing to happen on the 2nd day of ownership What colour is it??

 

it's silver. i think it's called silverstone, but not too sure. i actually had it parked along the street during the night and it got hit in the left rear. i came out from my gf's house in the morning and couldn't believe it. the damage wasn't too bad. the bill from the body shop was $950 and my insurance covered it all for me. anyway, i'm gonna try and get some pics of it up this weekend.

 

At least you weren't in it when it happened. Was it side swiped?

 

it was kinda side swiped. it looked more like the other car drove right into the left rear corner. at least it's fixed now and i don't have to look at it again.

 

That's the main thing. Hopefully you'll have plain sailing for the rest of your Z ownership.
