Default About to purchase a z can i get some hlp plz.

Hello fellow 350z lovers i had a question hopefully some one can help me out. Ive been searching on auto trader and ive seen a few 350z selling really cheap any were from 10,500 to 13500 but the millage is in the 50s do u think this would be a great buy for example today i saw a 2004 grand touring for 10499 it was really clean with the mileage of 58000 would this be a good deal. Ill take any info i can on pricing AND ANY OTHER USEFULL INFO

if you're seeing an 04 GT (I hope you actually know what the trim's have so you can identify it properly....) with 60k miles for 10k, it has to be a salvage title or something else drastically wrong.

these engines are built to last to 200k+ so I wouldn't stress higher miles.. but that price is too good. that car should be selling for around 15, maybe a bit higher since it's GT.

Grand touring should have brembos. I wouldn't worry about miles. I would def. run a carfax and/or have a dealership check it out.

one of the first Z's I checked out they tried to pass off as a GT because it had leather and the bose system. No brembos.

either way that's too good to be true. not saying don't check it out, just don't get your hopes up.

davidv is right; there was no grand touring in 04.

If car has had regular maintenance, 58,000 miles is nothing. Price is to good to be true.

Have it inspected before you buy ANY used car.

Welcome to the forum. The others have already given some good advice. Take a few for a test drive is also a wise thing to do.

Cool. Know the various models before you go shopping. There are several dead give-aways like VDC, leather seats, Brembo brakes. Easy to tell.

Sellers often misname the model. They are not necessarily being devious, they just don't know. Happy shopping.
