Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you're a tyre sponsors best friend. Drifting is very hard on the running gear, but if that's what floats your boat, go for it, as long as it's on the track. If you one day make it to D1 then some naysayers may give you a bit more respect.

Cobalts are cute; that's where the good news ends. Reliability, performance, bang-for-the-buck factor...hmmm, not good. BTW, does anyone here own a Pontiac Solstice? She's REALLY cute! But I wonder how she performs...I haven't read any articles/assessments on her times, braking distances, ergonomics, MPG, etc.

i was looking at the Saturn Sky for a while, the new Turbo RWD one. 260hp, not bad, also its tiny and a roadster. i liked the idea of the Z better after i did research and my friends convinced me, it has a ton of aftermarket. the cars i was considering were among: 240SX S14 (in good condition), S2000, M3 e36 probably a 98 or 99, and the 350Z. I didnt want a G35 because so many people already have them. thanks for all the positive replies guys and i plan to roast a ton of tires, finding a tire sponsor would be great as well so i wouldnt have to pay as much.

Sorry man i gotta comment on this one!! You actually think someone is going to give you tires and let you burn through them for free??
"Sponsers" remind me of young ricers. Whom always think everyone is going to "sponsor" them. OR they tell people the stickers on their cars are from their "sponsors". When in actuality they just don't want to own up to putting rice all over their doors. OR "my car has been primer grey for a year because i'm waiting for my sponsor to paint my car for me". <----heard that ALOT!!lol
They should make a rice dictionary, like the urban dictionary. LOL
