Lurking and Deciding - Possible G37/370z purchaser
Hey Everybody
You know... its too early to be this chipper, but hell. I've been up since 5:30am, why not post wh*re a bit?
My name is James and I'm from Hagerstown, Maryland. I've already been posting a bit around the forum; however, I don't really have a "newbie" thread or something of the sort created so people know who the heck I am.
I drive a 2007 Spec V currently and have been looking at the different options available to me. I have been driving Nissan's since I could remember (Got my *** beat for trying to drive my grandfather's hard body at age 5
).
It is of course a 6spd Manual. I have an Injen Intake, a Throttle Body Spacer, and a Magnaflow Exhaust. I didn't want the car to be to twangy? Ricey...
.... Just a good mellow tune. My girlfriend's father even asked me on our first meeting(when I met the parents) was that your loud car I heard? I was like... nah, it's not that loud. I'm sure a Civic with a Fart Can could truely out do my car.
So enough rambling. Below you will find a few pics of the car in its current state
. I made the mistake of posting old pictures without modifications on MySpecV.com and they were like... you got what done? Shout out to all my friends on here that will recognize me (ex2cinaz, MrsHKS-Z) Anyway... here you go....

Probably trade it. The 370 or G37 would be the daily driver. I would possibly take an older G37 since it would have the same motor as the 370, but not the styling. I'm still looking to see what is out there.
Imo...If your buying based on looks then Id get the G37 over the 370, if you want better performance then the 370 is what you want if you can deal with the looks of it, either way you get a good car.

there are sick deals on the g37 currently. i also got a '08 G35 6MT sedan if you're interested for $26k w/ navi if you want a sleeper. good luck plenty of deals on the G37's and the 370z is just a pure sports coupe there.
My two cents .... buy a dealer demo '08 or low mile '07 350z... The deals
are ridic - likely +/- $20k otd ttt. The G37 and 370z are both excellent choices.
My issue with the G37 is a relative lack of aftermarket support. Surely the
370z is going to tow the line with the aftermarket, but I doubt you will be
able to locate a truly excellent deal value-wise.
Either way, please remove the grill from your spec-v.
