Default Deal on my new '03 or what..!!

Whats up everyone...
Well after being out of my 04.5 Z for almost a year now I decided to start looking around for another one..My last one was a chrome silver 6mt enthusiast..I always said if I ever got another one it would have to be any other color but CS, and of course MUST be a manual!!

Well I guess I am kind of eating my own words because I picked up a (you guessed it) a CS auto Z!! The deal was way to good to pass up so I went for it..And the 5at is not as bad as I thought it was gonna be...Anyhow I know have an "03 enthusiast auto with 58k on it that I picked up for $10k..The car runs, looks, and drives excellent and really couldnt be happier with the deal I got...
So I feel as if I got a hell of a price on my new ride..What do you guys think??

if you end up not liking the color and tranny after a month or so, worst comes to worst you can probably resell it for a little bit more, make some money, and continue the hunt.

But yeah damn good deal, glad to have you back in the Z community!

I was kinda worried about that at first, but the way I see it I could always sell it and turn a 2k profit with ease...

A 5at in silver. They were happy to get 10.
Good luck and enjoy.

That chrome color is much better in person than the regular silver.
At that price you can spend 5k and make it a 6mt. Or close to it.

The 5at has a higher value than the 6mt so why spend money to make it depreciate? just sell the darn thing if you dont like it and put a couple g's in your pocket.

My thoughts exactly!!

Oh and don't worry I'm not gonna be one of those 5at guys that tries to convince himself that he made the right choice over a 6mt!! lol... I prefer the 6 speed anyday, but I must say the performance feels right on par with my old 04.5 6mt enthusiast..!!

You are correct sirr!! Although I wouldnt say its as enjoyable to drive as my old 6mt, it is still fun to drive...I think nissan did good for the most part with the auto...(v.b. upgrade would be nice tho!)..lol

Haha, you read my mind !! But in all honesty, I have had dozens of m/t cars my whole life and enjoy them very much!! But I think I will daily drive the 5at for a month or two just to see how well I can tolerate it....If I dont like it, I am sure turning a 1-2k profit will be quite easy.....

Sounds like you got an amazing deal! However, I've learned the hard way that if it's too good to be true, it probably is. Did you have a mechanic check it out? If you're feeling a bit cheap, you could always take it to CarMax and have them do one of their "free" 125-point inspections on it. Just tell them you want to sell them your car, and they'll come back with an offer. If their offer is low, then they should tell you why... as in, it's been in an accident or there are signs of flood / fire damage. etc.
