First wax....but I noticed....
Hi Everyone,
I am a proud owner of a 2008 350z. Yesterday was our first awesomely warm day so I decided to wash and wax the car for the first time. I used NXT but the wax was streaky and I noticed the car's paint seems to have a bit of a rough surface to it.
Has the paint not settled yet? Or perhaps should I clay bar it next time?
The paint just doesn't have that "slippery" feel to it yet. Hmm...
Did anyone else notice this with their new one?

If it was at the Dealership for awhile it probally needs a real good cleaning like said above with a claybar.
Hand wash it yourself and make sure you dry it off and then feel the paint,if it feels grainy then a claybar treatment is probally what you need or try a good detail spray and do the whole car, that might take off all the stuff from the paint.
I used Kasse AIO on mine the first time waxing after I got it home and topped it off with some P21S.

Welcome to the forum and congratZ on the 2008. Lance is on the right track. Some dealers aren't too flash with detailing. Lil' bit of advice, if you have it back in at servicing points, don't let them wash it.
