Default We Finally Got It!

First off I would like to say hello to everyone.

I have been a Nissan fan for a long time having owned a Datsun as my first car and later owning 2 different 240SX's. I have loved the Z since its inception but was never in the right place to buy one...

...Until now. My wife and I have been dreaming about one of these for a couple of years now and were finally able to pull off the purchase last month.

We got a 2003 Touring Edition with all options (Except Nav) with 47000 miles and an extended warranty through Nissan until Oct. 2010 (previous owner got it through a dealer certified used). We could not be more pleased with the car and are currently working on getting it to an acceptable modified state (I never leave a car stock).

Thanks,
omra1k03

Sorry about the crappy Cell picture, I will make sure to get some better ones up soon.

Thanks. We were looking for either LeMans or Daytona Blue, but with the deal we got and after seeing the car in person, we love this color.

Good luck with the new car! What are your plans for it?

Right now we are on a tight budget for mods, but I currently have a Nismo S-Tune Muffler (from a full system that was damaged) mounted to the stock midpipe thanks to my buddy that owns a muffler shop. I just picked up an AAM Y pipe from a member here and I will get that put on with 3" midpipe to finish the system next week. For intake I put a K&N drop in filter in and plan to install a motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer soon.

I put in a Pioneer Head Unit to make better use of the stock Bose stereo (the stock head unit was pretty bad).

I am also planning some lowering springs and possibly wheel spacers (depending on how it looks lowered).

We cant afford new wheels, but both love black wheels so I am going to have the stock 18's painted satin black.

also going to get the windows tinted to 20%.

I think that will give us a good starting point to go from.

As most of us know though, a car is never really done being modified, as soon as you are satisfied, there will always be something that catches your eye.

I have a very understanding and supportive wife!

Enjoy it! Get ready to have everyone who sees it ask if thats a factory color or not. The first few times you'll walk away with a silly grin, but it get's annoying after a while.

Thanks for the heads up. I love having a rare color, it sets me apart from the crowd. I mainly see silver and black around here in the NW with a few red and blue every once in a while. However I have only seen mine in brickyard...so far...

Awesome man, I've only seen one brickyard around SE Ohio, and I'm pretty sure it's driven by a high schooler. Then again 350's aren't that common around here to begin with, congratulations on getting your Z!
