New owner of a 2k3 350z silverstone
Recently bought a used Z as the title implies, only 39125 miles on it at the time.
I am unsure of package the car is though. No leather but it has bose, or at least it has bose on the woofer cover behind the seat. I am fairly certain it has been modded some at least as it has a carbon fiber hood and the exhaust looks larger than stock. Is there somewhere i could go to look at pictures of the various packages for the 2003 model, and does anyone know of a good vin decoder that could tell me, only one i have found simply tells me it was made in tennesse.
Oh, and are the pipes normally connected with a cloth like material near the mid of the car, it did pass inspection, just looks odd to me, never seen anything like it before.

Nowadays with all the modding, it's hard to tell which trim. From my best guess, you probably have the Enthusiast.
Here's one decoder I know of: http://www.etraxx.com/350z_vin.php

As far as I know, all the US models came in 5 trim levels for 2003 up to 2005. I don't know about Canada.
Trim levels:
Base
Enthusiast
Performance
Touring
Track

Knowing if it has cruise control/tcs/vdc/at or mt would help as well. Could Bose be an option on a base model (or any other model)?
Edit: actually this post sums it up pretty well.

Good find on that thread.
I'm guessing that with a little work through the dealership, one could find out which trim the car originally got sold as.

Vin didn't help alot, but i believe it is an enthusiast. It's an A/T so only having the TCS button makes sense now. Also it does have cruise, though not working atm
. As well as the tripple gauges in the dash recently going out, hoping its just a fuse or a sensor. No pics yet but I'll get some of the exhaust and maybe someone can tell what's been put on it. Thanks again for the links and the help.
