Hi guys im new to the forum. ill be buyin a z in the near future looking at a few i will be getting a roadster love the look and open feel. im torn on what to get i found 3 options that im test driving this weekend.

1. 2007 roadster GT, 6.2kmiles, A/T
2. 2006 roadster GT, 35kmiles (body), M/T (had oil consumption problem new engine from nissan has 4k miles)

or a 2007 roadster GT with 13k miles M/T but is like 5 grand more

they are all grey with the orange vented seats

also what color do you guys like on your Z?

 

Purple in the sunshine when the sun gleams, then the pearl really stars ta shiiine!

 

if you wanted me to pick, I would pick option number 2. My reasoning: its a MT and is significantly cheaper than option 3. and if the replacement engine is still bad...you can replace it again. just my

 

My vote - go #1! HR engine in 2007 is better way to go!

 

^ but its a boring A/T....I dont even consider autos, but again, thats just my opinion

I guess it really depends on what you are getting the car for. If it is to be a DD then i would go with option 3 but if it is just for fun, go with option 2 and drop the extra 5k in the car to get it to run right and then let the modding begin

to answer the last question, i prefer the pearl white, but the carbon silver and orange are nice also

 

Option 3. Low mileage HR engine with a standard tranny.

 

Thanks guys.. yeah definetly leaning towards manual i dont think i can get AT would defeat the purpose of driving, just test drove 370z MT and it convinced me MT 4 life lol
